About the Role

We are looking for an experienced enterprise salesperson to be a core member of our enterprise sales team. You’ll be involved in every aspect of our enterprise sales process: sourcing and developing leads, driving clients to close and managing key client relationships. As an early employee of Marker Learning and our first sales hire, you'll have visibility into the entire company, work side-by-side with our co-founders and product team, and be relied upon to provide voice-of-the-customer insights to the broader organization.

What you’ll do:

  • Work in lock step with the CEO to develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of clients
  • Independently manage deals from first POC to close
  • Take a data- backed approach to generating, qualifying, and contacting leads
  • Modify sales materials and messages based on client feedback
  • Collaborate with Customer Success to ensure successful implementation of our program, as well as renewals
  • Contribute to product roadmap by capturing and relaying the customer's voice to the product team
  • Help shape the structure and direction of the sales organization

Qualities of the ideal candidate:

  • 4+ years of enterprise sales experience
  • Demonstrated history of closing large, complex deals that have several week sales-cycles
  • History of consistently attaining / exceeding quotas
  • Excellent project management, organization, and communication skills
  • Comfortable working with the ambiguity of a fast-paced startup - ability to innovate, and solve problems creatively on the fly
  • Experience working in a high-growth environment

  • Salesforce platform proficiency
