Mission:
Your mission as Product Manager - Data Platform at Andros is to drive strategy, planning, and execution of Andros’ new to market data platform, helping customers transform their approach to provider network management. Leveraging market intelligence, a strong understanding of customer needs, and data & analytics, you’ll own decision making for the platform investments Andros makes to serve our customers. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders across the business, especially design, engineering, and data science, to deliver on a rapidly growing product & market opportunity, bringing value to Andros’ customers and to the healthcare industry at large.
Outcomes:
Create and maintain a clear and focused platform product strategy and roadmap:
- Build and maintain product strategy & roadmap aligned to top level business objectives
- Leverage data to identify opportunities & challenges
- Monitor financial metrics to understand product performance and prioritize enhancements to increase market value
- Build a deep understanding of customer needs through direct customer engagement, internal proxies, and research
- Maintain process for keeping prioritization fresh against incoming requests and opportunities
- Develop and execute a plan for clear visibility into the roadmap, upcoming launches, and roadmapping process for stakeholders across all departments
- Regularly conduct customer and market research and analysis to understand key trends that might drive product decision making
Cross functionally collaborate and partner with internal and external teams to effectively deliver on the product roadmap vision and goals :
- Enable design, engineering, and data science teams to execute on the roadmap
- Generate and oversee the development of stories from product requirements
- Partner with engineering leadership to ensure customer needs and business objectives are well understood
- Ensure your team has a healthy balance of innovation, reducing technical debt and providing maintenance and support
- Influence your business partners and department leaders using clear data and customer insights to make recommendations on product roadmap
- Partner with customer-facing team members to understand top customer challenges, opportunities and growth areas
- Share product & financial data/insights driving your decision making
- Build credibility through structure and clarity and be a trusted strategic partner
- Communicate status clearly: progress, setbacks, and tradeoffs across management and stakeholders
- Leverage our monthly demo day and biweekly product updates posts as opportunities to communicate updates broadly
- Ensure team members across the organization consistently receive targeted updates with the appropriate context for their role
Be the strategic leader for a transformative data platform product:
- Stay abreast of data market changes, challenges and opportunities within the healthcare data landscape
- Regularly survey customers on the data sources, metrics, and analytics challenges and opportunities they face
- Stay up to date on opportunities with top third party data providers to inform potential partnerships
- Regularly survey internal stakeholders (data science, compliance, etc.) on needs for data acquisition
- Partner with engineering and data leadership to architect a platform built for innovation in the data space - including data connectivity, data modeling, and data science
- Identify data platform players who have innovated in other industries and strategize around healthcare applications of said innovations
- Create data-backed strategies to see what product vision improvements are best for users
Role-Specific Competencies:
- Product Development: Act as a strategic player in the development of Andros’ current and future product offerings, leading the product lifecycle from discovery through execution. Be a leader that cross-functional teams look to for strategy & direction.
- Cross-team collaboration: Collaborate across teams including Engineering, Sales, Finance, and Client Success to provide reporting and/or gather information required for analysis
- Intellectual curiosity: A desire to explore how non data-oriented folks digest data and how to make that process more meaningful
- Analytical: Able to structure and process qualitative and quantitative data and draw insightful conclusions from it. Exhibits a probing mind and achieves penetrating insights.
- Self-starter: Much of the work in this role will be self-driven and both reactive (answering questions from various stakeholders) and proactive (coming up with new hypotheses to test) in nature.
Desired Qualifications:
- BA/Masters required in relative field, healthcare background preferred
- A minimum of 4+ years of work experience in product management
- Experience with developing B2B software, PaaS experience preferred
- Experience designing, developing, and executing 0 to 1 software products preferred
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully leading and delivering B2B software products.
Salary Range:
$140,000-$160,000
