About the Role:

Chief is seeking someone eager to learn and gain experience in a start-up environment. With their guidance, you will support the IT Infrastructure Manager with daily tasks. The role is currently budgeted for 20 hours per week, and will require time Tuesday through Thursday at either our NYC Office or NYC Clubhouse. This role will require flexibility to support NYC Clubhouse events for audio-visual in the evenings. This internship will start in early summer.

What you’ll do:

  • Assist Chief team members with helpdesk tickets within a timely manner. Escalate tickets to the IT Infrastructure Manager as needed.

  • Troubleshoot meeting room hardware and software in our NYC HQ.

  • Support team members in the office with IT needs.

  • Manage and maintain the IT Closet in our NYC HQ.

  • Provide support to our NYC Clubhouse related to Meeting Room troubleshooting and supporting AV for events.

    • This will be done under the supervision of the IT Infrastructure Manager.

  • Assist with new hires as needed.

  • Support the IT Infrastructure Manager with projects across the organization including but not limited to:

    • Windows MDM deployment

    • Google Workspace Housekeeping

    • IT Asset Inventory System

    • Networking SplashTop page.

What you’ve done and enjoy doing:

  • 0-2 years of experience with IT Helpdesk.

  • Figuring out how to resolve issues yourself.

  • Experience with macOS troubleshooting. Windows is a plus, as we have a low number of Windows machines.

  • Experience with AV Meeting Room equipment.

  • Maintained an IT closet.

  • Any customer service experience.

  • Administration of SaaS applications.

  • Student with IT Systems, Computer Engineering, Networking, Cybersecurity major preferred
