About the Role:

The Clubhouse Manager is the heartbeat of our San Francisco Flagship, responsible for creating an exceptional, high-touch experience for every member who walks through our doors. This role blends hospitality, operational leadership, and community-building, with a strong presence on the clubhouse floor and a deep commitment to elevating the member experience. You’ll oversee daily operations, lead clubhouse programming and external rentals, ensure a standout food and beverage program, and set the tone for how the space comes alive for our members.

What You’ll Do:

  • Be Present & Engaged – Spend the majority of your time on the clubhouse floor, building authentic relationships with members, and fostering a welcoming environment

  • Champion Member Experience – Serve as a cultural ambassador, introducing members to one another, facilitating networking moments, and ensuring the space always feels polished and inviting.

  • Lead Event Programming & Execution – Oversee the full event experience from concept to completion, including curation of clubhouse programming, coordination of external rentals, partnership with the community team, space readiness, and real-time troubleshooting—ensuring each gathering reflects Chief’s brand and hospitality standards.

  • Elevate Food & Beverage – Oversee the clubhouse F&B program, including vendor relationships, menu curation, seasonal offerings, and adherence to health, safety, and compliance protocols

  • Maintain Daily Operational Readiness – Oversee front-of-house, food and beverage, and back-of-house operations to ensure quality standards are met every day.

  • Develop & Implement SOPs – Create and refine Standard Operating Procedures that define how the Clubhouse Operations team collaborates with cross-functional partners, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and seamless member experiences.

  • Drive Continuous Improvement – Proactively gather feedback from members and team observations to inform enhancements to operations, events, and overall member experience.

  • Manage Clubhouse Team & Resources – Lead, coach, and support the local operations team; manage scheduling, training, and performance to deliver best-in-class service.

  • Oversee Budget & Resources – Manage clubhouse operating expenses within budget, including vendor relationships and resource allocation.

  • Ensure Facility Excellence – Oversee facilities management to maintain a clean, safe, and high-functioning space.

What You’ve Done and Enjoy Doing:

  • Hospitality and/or member experience leadership in a high-touch environment.

  • Hands-on leadership with a comfort in being visible and active in the member space.

  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings for events.

  • Experience building relationships and community culture.

  • Skill in managing teams, operations, and budgets.

  • Passion for creating meaningful, elevated experiences that align with Chief’s mission.

The base salary for this role is: $115,000
