By building the operating system for every dental office in America, Dandy is empowering dentists with technology, innovation, and world-class support to achieve more for their practice, their people, and their patients.</span></p> </div><p><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <p><span style="font-weight:400;">Dandy is hiring a Lean Manufacturing Specialist to support the production team and processes as we scale our output. Directly support our operations through the Lean journey by working with the Managers and other key stakeholders. This position will provide direct support that focuses on the implementation and enhancement of the Dandy continuous improvement system.</span></p> <p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Investigate operational problems affecting production and reporting and recommending solutions.</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Support hands-on process improvements using a combination of Lean Manufacturing with a focus towards optimizing labor resources and systems, flow creation, 5S and waste reduction.</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Supports the day-to-day and tactical efforts toward the achievement of the strategic plan objectives.</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">As a frontline support, you will interface with department managers, develop feedback loops, and work with operations leadership to improve our processes.</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Develop and support people with lean principles</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Solve for scale: support and refine a complex operational system that includes supply chain, logistics, sales, product, and partner/vendor relationship management</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Help identify operational bottlenecks and build scalable solutions that grow our capacity</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Leverage a wealth of disparate data sources to inform strategic decision making</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Support new operational initiatives with stakeholders across the business (operations, product, and IT)</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Work with other relevant departments to determine estimated costs, run time, cost reduction and close the feedback loop</span></li> </ul> <p><strong>What We’re looking for</strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">BA/BS degree in Engineering, Project Management or related field preferred <strong>OR </strong>3+ years of experience coaching, facilitation and organizational skills with a track record of successful change management.</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Knowledge and practical experience in a manufacturing/industrial setting with a strong focus on continuous improvement.</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Experience in analyzing and interpreting data for strategic decision making.</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Working knowledge of MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint.</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Willingness to roll up your sleeves and fix problems in a hands-on manner</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Intellectual curiosity and research abilities</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment with multiple deadlines.</span></li> </ul> <p><strong>Bonus Points For</strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Green belt six sigma</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Experience with audit implementation </span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">History with cost saving projects</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Experience production and project management</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Exposure to healthcare environments or stakeholders</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Relentlessly positive attitude, strong sense of humor, and ability to have fun at work</span></li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"> <p>In addition, Dandy offers a wide range of best in class, comprehensive and inclusive employee benefits including healthcare, dental, parental planning, and mental health benefits, a 401(k) plan, paid time off and fitness reimbursements.</p> <p><span style="font-weight:400;">Dandy is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
