Overview

Electric is seeking a Channel Sales Manager to drive growth through strategic partnerships. In this role, you will be responsible for building and expanding relationships with our key channel partners, executing on revenue goals, and ensuring mutual success. You have a strong desire to make a difference for the companies to which you sell and you’re empowered by hard-earned success. Your expertise in channel sales, along with your ability to thrive in fast-paced, competitive environments, will be critical as you identify and capitalize on opportunities for growth.

As a core member of the team, you'll collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to develop and execute strategies that accelerate the adoption of Electric's solutions. With your competitive edge and passion for success, you will make a measurable impact and help position Electric as a leader in the market. What You’ll Do

  • Build and execute joint business plans with partners to drive mutual growth and success
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop partner relationships at all levels, from individual contributors to C-suite executives
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle, including pipeline management and closing deals, ensuring partners have the necessary resources to succeed
  • Collaborate with internal teams (product, marketing, customer success) to align strategies, share insights, and drive joint initiatives
  • Track and report on partner performance, identifying key metrics such as revenue growth, pipeline development, and customer acquisition
  • Evaluate and refine partner programs, identifying opportunities to enhance engagement, increase revenue, and improve partner satisfaction
  • Stay informed on industry developments, competitive dynamics, and partner needs to adjust and evolve channel strategies
  • Manage partner relationships at all levels, building trust, providing ongoing support, and addressing any challenges that arise

Who You Are

  • 4+ years of experience in channel sales or enterprise sales, partner management, or business development, within the SaaS or technology industry
  • 5-8 years of overall selling or consulting experience2
  • Identify, evaluate, and recruit high-potential partners (HCMs, MSPs, ISVs, system integrators) to drive revenue through partner engagement
  • Hunter mentality, love of selling and closing deals
  • The ability to translate complex scenarios into simple solutions
  • A deep understanding of SaaS products and the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to manage sales pipelines, prioritize opportunities, and drive results through strategic partner relationships
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with experience engaging with senior executives
  • A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work across teams such as sales, marketing, product, and customer success
  • Results-driven and passionate about meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • A high level of problem-solving skills and a knack for both strategic thinking and tactical execution
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and partner management tools
  • Ability to travel for partner meetings, industry events, and other business development opportunities

Where?

We are headquartered in NYC, with an office in Denton, TX and remote locations across 24 states. Our largest markets outside of the Tri-State area and Dallas-Fort Worth area are San Diego, Denver, Raleigh. We embrace a hybrid culture and offer opportunities throughout the year for folks to get together in regional markets or at HQ. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones.
