About the Role

In 2025, Flock is launching a new multifamily-focused 721 Exchange Fund in partnership with best-in-class multifamily operators. Flock is hiring a Multifamily Director (MFD) to join our fast-growing platform as a founding team member to drive this strategy forward.

As a Multifamily Director, you will be a trusted partner to multifamily landlords throughout their journey exiting their investment properties. You will source prospective opportunities primarily through outbound efforts, screen the quality of those prospective opportunities, educate prospective Flock clients on the 721 Exchange, coordinate and collect due diligence information to underwrite qualified properties, and “quarterback” the mutual due diligence processes between Flock and landlords to guide landlords to a decision.

You will become a subject matter expert on Flock, landlord pain points, and be expected to explain complex financial concepts in an approachable way. You’ll be trained on Flock’s solution and given all the tools you need to succeed in the role.

What You’ll Do

  • Opportunity Sourcing: Conduct market research, network with landlords, brokers, and industry professionals, and leverage data analytics to uncover qualified multifamily 721 Exchange opportunities for Flock. This includes:
    • Educating landlords on the 721 Exchange, the benefits of a Flock investment, and what they could expect as one of our clients
    • Be an expert on Flock’s products and synthesize complicated financial concepts to a variety of audiences, from sophisticated investors to third-party advisors
  • Due Diligence: Coordinate and ensure proper collection of due diligence materials and timely review of requirements by the pertinent parties within Flock, Flock’s operating partners, and the prospective client
  • Pipeline Monitoring: Maintain an accurate and detailed log of active and inactive acquisition activities within Flock-designated systems
  • Industry Outreach: Attend industry conferences on Flock’s behalf to network and educate market participants regarding the benefits of the 721 Exchange and Flock’s multifamily strategy for landlords
  • Client Service: Deliver exceptional client experiences as expected in a high-value financial transaction. Take clear action on next steps after speaking with a potential Flock client and exhibit a strong sense of ownership over your work, your clients, their investment journey, and Flock overall

About You

  • Extensive multifamily real estate experience: 7-10+ years in the industry
  • Proven dealmaker: Strong track record of sourcing and closing multifamily real estate transactions
  • Sophisticated financial acumen: Ability to navigate complex investment structures and explain them clearly to prospective clients
  • Sales-driven mindset: Demonstrated success in a revenue-generating role
  • Proactive and action-oriented: Keeps deals moving, balances multiple opportunities, and thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Adaptable and strategic: Willingness to experiment with new sales tactics and refine strategies for success
  • Exceptional communicator: Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to simplify complex concepts for clients

The annual salary/OTE range for the target level for this role in Denver is $300-350K OTE +, target equity, and benefits (including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
