Overview


The European Technical Marketing Specialist plays a pivotal role in managing technical aspects related to product launches, stock & fleet management, technical product representation, event assistance, and customer support, contributing to the overall success of marketing initiatives and brand presence. The position involves close collaboration with the European Marketing Team, actively supporting sales functions, and ensuring excellent service for our customers.

Responsibilities


  • Bike fleet management: flee for events, OE/ AM ride experiences, trade shows
  • Marcom product stock and workshop support (product orders, SAP, workshop upkeep)
  • Technical presentation and product training for Marketing and event staff at OEM and AM customers
  • Technical support for AM/OE customers, industry partners and end-consumers at launches and events
  • Trade show products, displays and fixtures coordination with our external agencies and suppliers
  • Support of the Event team and the regional Marketing specialists with the different events and local tactics: festivals, trade shows, local events, customer activation

Qualifications


  • BS/BA marketing, PR, communications, business or similar preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the bike industry
  • High level of technical skills
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); German is a plus
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Excellent mechanical abilities: Building/ Tuning bikes; Hydraulic Brakes; Wheel-Truing; Suspension setup/service; E-Bike etc.
  • Strong communication (written and oral) and collaboration skills
  • Ability to travel internationally (mainly Europe) regularly; flexibility with working schedules (e.g. working on weekends)
  • Excellent organization and time management skills; ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
