The bicycle is a force of good in the world. From transportation to competition, cycling enhances the lives of everybody it touches, reliably making them healthier, fitter, and a better version of themselves. This quest for personal improvement and the benefits it confers are at the core of our mission at Hammerhead: Inspire & empower all people to unlock their athletic potential through cycling. Our first step towards this mission, H1, was an award-winning navigation device released in 2014. Simple, inexpensive, and inventive, the H1 used light patterns to give cyclists visual navigational directions without pulling their focus from what’s most important: the ride experience. In 2018, we released the Karoo 1, offering an elegant, visual solution to the shortcomings of existing GPS head units. Karoo combines cutting-edge ruggedized hardware and a responsive, full-color, high-definition touchscreen with a user-friendly Android-based interface.
