At J2 Health, we know that healthcare is complicated and falls short of what consumers deserve. J2 wants to change that by focusing on transforming a critical and underserved part of the healthcare ecosystem– provider networks.

Most Americans access care through a provider network, a set of doctors our insurance companies have contracted with to offer covered care. However, provider data is notoriously unreliable and disjointed, complicating how members access low cost, high quality care. Health care organizations often find themselves spinning their wheels trying to figure out which providers even exist in a specific geography.

Our accurate provider database and network simulation tools allow healthcare organizations to keep cost, quality & regulatory metrics at the forefront of their network design strategy. Expediting the basics, J2 Health allows health care organizations to focus on increasing access and delivering member specific care.

We, a team of industry insiders and technologists, backed by Primary Ventures, Tiger Global, BoxGroup and Greycroft. We are looking for like minded team members who are not afraid to get their hands dirty and interested in building a mission driven healthcare company.

This role reports to the Head of Product and the right candidate will have the opportunity to take over significant responsibility for J2’s product roadmap, and will lead a functional pod. We are looking for a candidate in the New York City area (in-person work expected 3 days per week). At this time J2 does not offer visa sponsorship.

Compensation: $150k-$170k in base salary plus equity compensation.

Responsibilities:

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Owning execution against J2’s product roadmap
• Managing complex technical and cross-functional dependencies
• Researching and outline feature prototypes to present to company leadership
• Communicating with executives and clients about J2’s product offerings

Qualifications:

All Candidates must have:

• 6+ years of experience with 4+ years in product
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ambiguously deliver projects on time and within scope.
• Exposure to basic computer science concepts and familiarity with Python and SQL
• Candidates will receive bonus points for:

• Strong entrepreneurial bent/ interest in becoming a founder in the future
• Exposure to healthtech
