About the role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer proficient in JavaScript, NestJS/Node.js, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, GraphQL, TypeScript, Kafka, Kubernetes (k8s), and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in these technologies, along with a track record of self-learning, motivation, and exceptional communication skills. Bonus points for prior experience in FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) or within the medical field.

What you'll be doing:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance applications using JavaScript, NestJS/Node.js, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, GraphQL, TypeScript, Kafka, k8s, and GCP technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Architect and implement robust and efficient backend systems, adhering to best practices and industry standards.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues across the software development lifecycle.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

What we're looking for:

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience with JavaScript.
  • 5+ years of extensive knowledge in NestJS or Node.js.
  • Proficiency (3+ years) in MongoDB and PostgreSQL databases.
  • Strong expertise in GraphQL, TypeScript, Kafka, Kubernetes (k8s), and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to evolving project requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team and across departments.
  • Previous experience with FHIR or exposure to the medical field is a significant advantage.
