First, we offer Workers’ Compensation insurance in a partnership with Nationwide to companies and provide our risk reduction products for free as part of being a policyholder. Second, we sell our unique products directly to very large companies that are self-insured.

The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Marketing Manager / Senior Manager to act as a generalist in our business. The work you will do will range across all aspects of the business from brand awareness & thought leadership to product marketing & lead generation. As our first internal marketing hire, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our business and accelerating growth. A successful candidate should have a wide range of marketing experience, be very self-directed, work well with other functional teams in understanding marketing needs, and be very focused on moving what matters The responsibilities of this role include but not limited:

Brand Building and Definition

  • Positioning Kinetic as a thought leader in the space of workplace safety
  • Bringing together our two business units into one identity on our website and LinkedIn platforms

Lead Generation

  • Enhancing messaging & Sales decks
  • Basic SEO and warm inbound tracking
  • Events marketing

Content Creation

  • Working with our product team to build out 1 pagers and similar materials
  • Engaging with our customers to explore product marketing strategies
  • Developing materials such as customer testimonials to support brand identity and customer engagement

Customer Engagement

  • Building out automations for marketing campaigns on new, renewal, and lost customers
  • Developing and executing engagement strategies through webinars and other means
  • Highlighting the value of our products to the customer base, primarily through targeted email campaigns

This is a fully remote position based in the United States.

What you'll do:

  • Develop and manage our brand identity, ensuring consistent and impactful messaging across all channels.
  • Create and execute email drip campaigns to engage our customer base and drive retention, discovery, and new product adoption.
  • Build targeted reports, and automate marketing flows.
  • Establish Kinetic’s authority in the industry through engaging content.
  • Develop and maintain compelling content that demonstrates the ROI of our solutions.
  • Analyze marketing performance data to refine strategies and improve outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, distribution, product, and customer success, to ensure cohesive and effective marketing efforts.

What you've done:

  • 5+ years of experience in a marketing generalist role, preferably in a tech-driven environment.
  • Strong proficiency with marketing tools such as HubSpot, Zapier, and Salesforce.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Experience in brand management, content creation, and website redesign.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to connect data from various sources and generate actionable insights.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Product marketing experience
  • Ideal candidate will have an MBA
