The Opportunity
We’re looking for a passionate and hungry Business Development Representative (BDR) who is highly motivated to begin an ambitious career path into enterprise restaurant technology sales. As a BDR at Lunchbox, we will teach you about how our technology can solve some of the most critical problems in restaurants today. In this pure “hunting” sales role, you will engage with prospect organizations of different sizes, complexities, and needs. Through collaborating with key internal team members and external groups, you will identify, uncover, and qualify opportunities that directly affect top and bottom-line sales at Lunchbox.
Our BDR will complete 100+ outbound activities daily that will require an individual who can handle rejection by identifying creative tactics to overcome these objections. Throughout your time as a BDR you will generate sales demand and pipeline revenue through an aggressive nurturing process. These behaviors and skillsets will be the foundational skills that will lead you to a successful career into Sales within Lunchbox.

How You’ll Make An Impact

  • Source and prospect ideal target client lists
  • Hit outbound activity metrics using different channels of communication such as phone calls, email, social selling, etc.
  • Qualify leads, maintain active engagement with new and existing leads, identify new opportunities and engage potential clients
  • Conduct high-level conversations with potential customers, while maintaining a database of CRM intelligence by consistently logging activities and keeping information up to date in Salesforce
  • Actively listen to potential clients to identify business needs and facilitate meeting logistics
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly lead generation and qualification targets
  • Monitor and evaluate restaurant industry trends while staying current on new Lunchbox product features
  • Implement training feedback for more effective selling
  • Goal-oriented and self-motivated; approaches work with a passion and enthusiasm
  • Continuously evaluate and improve our sales processes with an emphasis towards building to scale

What You’ll Bring (Required Qualifications):

  • At last one year of demonstrated experience qualifying, prospecting, or selling (SaaS is a huge +)
  • Proven ability to collaborate with sales representatives to plan and achieve goals
  • Track record of success, in a quota-based sales role, including consistent quota attainment and achieving KPI expectations
  • Highly self-motivated and results-oriented
  • Must be coachable, a team player, and with strong communication
  • Able to remain agile while adapting quickly in a continuously evolving environment
  • Bonus Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge of basic business research tools for Sales including Salesforce, and Apollo
  • Past experience working within or supporting the restaurant industry as a vendor (preferred)
  • The Roadmap
    In one month you will:
  • Learn what good looks like in your role + understand the responsibilities
  • Foundational understanding of Lunchbox Product + Ideal Customer Profiles
  • Have 1:1 meetings with your direct manager and enablement team
  • Shadow team members throughout sales org
  • Understand, organize and start to segment out book of business for outreach
  • By 60 Days you will:
  • Implementation of sales technology tools to create outreach cadence + strategy
  • Enhanced understanding of Lunchbox Product
  • Enhance research of Ideal Customer Profiles
  • Develop rapport, collaborate, + strategize with Account Executives
  • By 90 days you will:
  • Have completed ramping period - you will be expected to hit 100% of goal
  • Have demonstrated capacity to meet and exceed expectations
  • Applied and practiced feedback and coaching
  • Review and reflect last 90 days and identify areas of focus
