Role Overview

As a Principal – Customer Engagements, you will be the face of Lyric to our most strategic customers, driving the success of planning solution implementations. You will lead engagements from discovery through deployment, ensuring business alignment, technical delivery, and lasting customer value. You will act as a trusted advisor to supply chain leaders while translating their needs into impactful planning solutions powered by Lyric’s platform.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement & Value Delivery

  • Own end-to-end planning solution delivery for large, complex enterprise clients across demand and supply planning domains.

  • Drive discovery workshops to understand customer challenges, current systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis), and planning workflows.

  • Lead the design of future-state planning solutions using Lyric’s AI-based platform and capabilities.

  • Establish and maintain deep, consultative relationships with business and planning leaders to ensure long-term success and expansion.

  • Work cross-functionally with Lyric’s product, data, and implementation teams to ensure alignment between customer needs and platform features.

Solution Design & Implementation Leadership

  • Translate business requirements into robust, scalable demand/supply planning solutions within Lyric.

  • Serve as a strategic architect on solution configurations, data flows, and KPI frameworks.

  • Manage delivery timelines, scope, and outcomes in line with customer expectations.

  • Drive continuous feedback loops from customer experiences into product and data science teams.

Thought Leadership & Domain Expertise

  • Act as a subject matter expert in planning – demand forecasting, supply balancing, inventory management, S&OP, and more.

  • Contribute to the development of planning templates, best practices, and internal frameworks that scale Lyric’s delivery capability.

  • Represent Lyric in external forums, workshops, or webinars to showcase customer impact and platform strength.

Team Development & Leadership

  • Mentor and coach consultants and leads in the Customer Success and Delivery teams.

  • Play a key role in evolving internal talent by sharing planning domain expertise, delivery practices, and customer strategies.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 17–20 years of experience in supply chain planning, with deep expertise in demand planning, supply planning, and integrated business planning.

  • Proven track record of delivering technology-led planning transformations at global enterprises.

  • Strong understanding of enterprise systems (SAP IBP, APO, Oracle, Kinaxis, o9, etc.) and planning processes.

  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills – able to engage both CXOs and hands-on planners.

  • Experience with AI/ML-driven planning solutions or next-gen platforms is a strong plus.

  • Prior experience in a consulting or enterprise solution delivery role is preferred.
