About the Company

Why We Built Lyric: Supply chains are more critical and complex than ever. Every day, large enterprises navigate trillions of possible decisions that could impact the bottom line. Powerful algorithms and AI can address these problems, yet most organizations struggle to leverage supply chain AI at scale. The current SCM technologies are either rigid, limited-scope point solutions or custom solutions built in-house, which demand immense expertise and investment.

That is…until now.

Enter Lyric: Lyric is an enterprise AI platform built specifically for supply chains, offering the best of both worlds:

  • Out-of-the-box AI solutions for optimizing networks, allocating inventory, scheduling routes, planning fulfillment capacity, promising orders, propagating demand, building predictions, analyzing scenarios, and more, plus

  • A platform-first approach that empowers both business and technical users with end-to-end product composability, leveraging no-code tools, their own code, or even forking our code to build and refine supply chain decision intelligence

With Lyric, enterprises no longer have to choose between flexibility and speed—they get both.

The Mission: We’re building a new era in supply chain with the team best equipped to lead it. With over 20 years at the intersection of supply chain and algorithms, we developed a deep conviction that global supply chains needed something like Lyric. Since our inception in December 2021, that conviction has been validated time and time again.

Today, a growing number of Fortune 500 companies, including Smurfit WestRock, Estée Lauder, Coca-Cola, Nike, and more, are innovating on their own terms with Lyric. We can’t wait to see what our customers, both current and future, are empowered to build with us next. Come build with us!

Position Overview

We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to join our No Code Transform (NCT) team — one of the most critical user surfaces at Lyric. This role offers the opportunity to work on a highly visible product area where nearly 60% of user interaction takes place. You’ll play a key role in scaling the UI, tackling performance and UX challenges, and owning features end-to-end. This is a high-agency role meant for someone who codes with intent, thinks holistically about systems, and builds for real users — not just to close tickets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain core UI components and workflows for the No Code Transform product

  • Own medium-to-high complexity features from design to release

  • Collaborate closely with backend engineers, designers, and product managers

  • Improve code quality, modularity, and performance of the NCT frontend

  • Lead or co-lead initiatives to refactor tech debt and improve developer experience

  • Proactively identify UX improvements and contribute to product quality conversations

  • Develop a deep understanding of how users interact with NCT and optimize accordingly

Qualifications

Must-Have:

  • Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript and React

  • Clear understanding of frontend design patterns, rendering performance, and React internals

  • Strong grasp of code quality, testing, and modular architecture

  • Work with evolving or partially-defined requirements, and know how to collaborate with designers and PMs to fill in the gaps.

  • Ability to think beyond immediate tasks — considers user experience and system design

  • Prior ownership of production-grade UI features

  • Experience working across diverse projects or teams (not limited to one stack/company)

Good-to-Have:

  • Experience working with databases and raw SQL queries

  • Familiarity with ETL tools or data-heavy platforms

  • Exposure to system design in frontend-heavy applications

  • Curiosity and initiative to understand adjacent parts of the stack or product
