As Senior Manager, Business & Corporate Development, you will identify, develop, and execute on strategic opportunities to drive growth and profitability, through various business development activities such as mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships. This role will support both Noom’s consumer and enterprise healthcare businesses, and we anticipate the balance of work will evolve with Noom pending business needs.

Within Corp Dev, support Noom’s inorganic growth by helping to

  • Identify, size and evaluate new acquisition or investment opportunities for Noom’s corp dev pipeline
  • Assess and execute impactful acquisitions and investments, from start to completion, that drive growth for Noom in the short-term, mid-term and long-term
  • Provide regular reporting of competitor metrics, news and industry trends to inform long- term corporate development strategy, plus maintain competitive positioning with investors

Within Business Development, support Noom’s inorganic growth by helping to

  • Drive new business initiatives, from concept to execution, to open up new revenue streams.
  • Collaborate with product and marketing teams to develop new business models or product strategies.
  • Engage with customers and partners to gather insights and identify potential business opportunities.

Other Important Responsibilities

  • Conduct financial analysis and create models to evaluate various business scenarios.
  • Prepare investment or business case presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Monitor industry financial metrics and company performance against strategic goals to recommend strategy adjustments.

What We’re Looking For

  • 10+ years experience across investment banking, private equity or investing, corporate development, financial planning & analysis, business development, business operations, management consulting, or public and management accounting (strategic finance experience preferred), preferably with a consumer internet or healthcare focus
  • Knowledge of, and comfort with, the consumer internet and healthcare verticals -- have a good sense for what’s going on in the world of tech, and can apply it to their work at Noom
  • Highly proficient in Excel with strong attention to detail -- you are comfortable looking at company financials, passionate about using data to support your recommendations, and you have the ability and enthusiasm to build valuation models to support your thesis
  • While not required, experience with financial market data and research tools is a plus (such as Bloomberg, FactSet, Capital IQ)
  • Experience drafting board presentations, investor and capital markets materials

Base Salary

  • The US base salary range for this full-time position is $170,000 - $229,000.
    • Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting is based on Noom’s estimate as of the date of publication and reflects the minimum and maximum target for the position across all US locations. The actual placement of the candidate within the range is based on factors including but not limited to relevant experience, assessment of functional skills and behavioral competencies, scope, and location. This range is not inclusive of any discretionary bonus or equity package.
