About the Role
As we continue to grow, we’re seeking a Technical Lead Manager, Mobile Engineering to lead and evolve our mobile engineering efforts. In this role, you’ll manage a high-performing team of iOS and Android engineers, drive technical strategy, and ensure excellence in mobile development as we scale our platform to support a wide array of health initiatives.

You Will

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of mobile engineers working across iOS and Android platforms
  • Define and drive the technical strategy and roadmap for mobile development at Noom
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Design, and Data to deliver user-centric, scalable mobile experiences
    Champion engineering best practices in testing, code quality, performance, and maintainability
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership and contribute to critical codebases when needed
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and innovation across the mobile team

About You

You Have

  • 5+ years of experience developing iOS and/or Android applications, with 3+ years managing mobile engineers (including senior-level ICs), ideally in a cross-functional product environment
  • Deep expertise in native mobile development (iOS and/or Android)
  • Strong architectural and technical design skills, with an ability to lead complex initiatives
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across functions
  • Passion for building impactful products that improve lives

Base Salary

  • The US base salary range for this full-time position is $192,000 - $260,000.
    • The range displayed on each job posting is based on Noom’s estimate as of the date of publication and reflects the minimum and maximum target for the position across all US locations. The actual placement of the candidate within the range is based on factors including but not limited to relevant experience, assessment of functional skills and behavioral competencies, and scope. This range is not inclusive of any discretionary bonus or equity package.

  • Noom currently offers a comprehensive and generous total rewards package. This package generally includes discretionary performance-based bonus, stock awards, healthcare & retirement benefits, paid holidays, paid time off, disability benefits and various wellness programs, etc.

Location

  • This position is a hybrid role, with 2 days a week on-site required in our Princeton, NJ office
