About The Role:

  • You’ll be our lead QA tester, responsible for making sure all builds are completely bug-free before going live
  • You’ll be responsible for maintaining a Google sheets that contains a summary of all active checklists, as well as the checklists themselves
  • You’ll write thoughtful and detailed checklists for each task to ensure that you catch all potential issues
  • Use QA checklists to carefully test all builds and log clear and concise issues
  • Proactively follow up with dev and QA teams to resolved any open questions, and make sure all bugs you logged are fixed in a timely fashion
  • You may be working with and leading another part-time tester

About You:

  • You take joy in helping to build world-class software and user experiences.
  • You have a knack for finding bugs, for thinking critically, and for knowing how how to prioritize issues
  • You are eager to grow, and are always working to improve your skills and attentiveness
  • You are a pro at taking the time to fully understand each task before taking it on. Include the word details at the beginning of your response to show that you read and understand this point.
  • You love to keep things organized
  • You are detailed oriented, and always think for yourself and take the time to think about and understand the best UX
  • Responsive and proactive
  • Must be willing to work EST hours
  • BONUS #1: You have a good design key and can tell when a layout is out of balanced/messed up
  • BONUS #2: You understand the basics of CSS, HTML, and Javascript, and you are able to use your understanding of coding when thinking about the best way to check issues and communicate issues to dev

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Must be available to start in the next 4 weeks
  • Monthly compensation of $1-1.8k
