In this newly created position, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our online presence, optimizing our product displays. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks aimed at improving the customer's online shopping journey and ensuring that our products are presented effectively. This role will be an active cross-functional contributor, collaborating with eCommerce, Marketing, Creative and Merchandising teams.

At time of hire, this role will report to our Head of DTC.

Key Responsibilities:

Website Management:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of our e-commerce website.
  • Ensure website functionality, performance, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement website updates and improvements.

E-commerce Strategy:

  • Develop and execute e-commerce strategies to drive online sales and customer engagement.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and implement best practices for e-commerce success.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of e-commerce initiatives.

Content Management:

  • Oversee product listings, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Collaborate with content creators to develop compelling product descriptions and visuals.

Customer Journey Mapping:

  • Map the customer journey and identify touchpoints for improvement.
  • Implement strategies to enhance the end-to-end customer experience.
  • Address customer feedback and resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction.

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Utilize analytics tools to generate insights into website performance.
  • Prepare regular reports on key metrics and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Monitor and analyze competitor websites to identify opportunities for differentiation.

Web Merchandising:

  • Curate and manage product listings, ensuring high-quality images, accurate descriptions, and compelling content.
  • Implement and maintain product categorization and organization to enhance user experience and ease of navigation.
  • Create and update product bundles, kits, and cross-sell/upsell opportunities.
  • Monitor and adjust pricing and discounts to maximize sales and profitability.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO):

  • Optimize product pages and content for search engines to improve organic search rankings.
  • Conduct keyword research to identify opportunities for increased visibility.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to implement SEO best practices across the website.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred but not required: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in similar position
  • Demonstrated experience with Shopify
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from data, shaping strategies accordingly.
  • Superlative written communication skills, epitomizing brand voice and excellence in messaging.
  • Adept project manager with superior organizational skills, adept at prioritizing tasks and managing timelines.
  • Innate creative problem-solver, driven by innovation and proactive problem-solving.

Compensation & Benefits

  • The base salary range for this role is $72,000 - $115,000 depending on level, experience and qualifications of the candidate.
  • All employees receive equity in the form of vesting stock options.
  • Other benefits include company-sponsored health insurance, company-paid dental insurance, a generous PTO policy (20 days of vacation, 5 days of sick leave, plus company-paid holidays), as well as a company-sponsored 401(k) plan. We also provide an employee discount on products from Pattern's portfolio of brands.
