We are looking for a Lifecycle Marketing Specialist to plan, execute, measure, and optimize lifecycle campaigns across email, SMS, and future marketing channels.

The Lifecycle Marketing Specialist will work closely with our creative, paid media, and eCommerce teams. The role will be responsible for the execution of email and SMS campaigns, automated series, and performance tracking across Pattern’s portfolio of brands.

Our ideal candidate is passionate about marketing and is excited to manage campaign development, building, scheduling, and testing within a fast-paced, multi-brand environment. This is a highly collaborative role and requires strong communication skills, particularly on project progress, roadblocks, and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

As a Lifecycle Marketing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Lifecycle marketing team's initiatives and ensuring the successful execution of marketing strategies, while also delivering against core business KPIs including engagement, retention, and LTV across the funnel.

  • Own the execution of email and SMS campaigns including creative implementation, asset management, list segmentation, and deployment across Pattern’s portfolio of brands.
  • Work closely with the Lifecycle Associate to drive continuous improvement across email KPIs including deliverability, open rates, click rates, conversion rates, unsubscribe rates, and revenue
  • Manage and scale a lifecycle program within multiple external platforms
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute campaigns and ensure timely delivery and successful outcomes through effective project management.
  • Manage user preference pages, opt-in/out experiences, and technical workflows
  • Coordinate A/B testing of subject lines, send times, or other email/SMS features
  • Partner with the creative team to coordinate artwork and copy (email copy, CTAs, subject lines) that fulfill campaign objectives as outlined in the brief and are aligned with Pattern’s brand, look, and voice
  • Coordinate timelines, and implement deadlines from planning and design through deployment; ensure all tasks are input and completed in Asana
  • Test all emails before launch for accuracy, tracking, and readability across devices and email providers
  • Participate in team brainstorming and briefing sessions, creative reviews, and strategy discussions
  • Assist with weekly reporting efforts and dashboard generation
  • Handle change requests quickly and efficiently
  • Schedule deployment and complete post-deployment checks
  • Monitor technical issues relating to email delivery and advocate email best practices
  • Assist team with other projects, as required

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a fast-paced, fast-growing environment
  • Must have experience with Klaviyo; experience with Postscript is a plus
  • Demonstrated knowledge of email best practices including targeting and segmentation, A/B testing, and analytics
  • Familiarity with analytics dashboards (e.g. Google Analytics, Looker); experience with translating data into business and consumer insights preferred
  • Understanding of email/SMS marketing metrics (OR, CTR, CVR) and the ability to review data and develop actionable insights
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating exceptional collaboration skills, adaptability, and a problem-solving mindset
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS for email marketing, a plus
  • Experience with Google Workspace, as well as Asana or other project management tools
  • Strong communication skills, organizational skills, and a keen attention to detail
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing projects, priorities, and business needs

Compensation & Benefits

  • The base salary range for this role is $55,000 - $67,000 depending on level, experience, and qualifications of the candidate.
  • All employees receive equity in the form of vesting stock options.
  • Other benefits include company-sponsored health insurance, company-paid dental insurance, a generous PTO policy (20 days of vacation, 5 days of sick leave, plus company-paid holidays), as well as a company-sponsored 401(k) plan. We also provide an employee discount on products from Pattern's portfolio of brands.
