Flockler is a social media aggregator platform that empowers marketers and businesses to display authentic social media feeds on their websites and digital screens. By showcasing user-generated content from platforms like Instagram, TikTok, X, BlueSky and LinkedIn, Flockler helps brands drive engagement, build trust, and boost conversions through authentic storytelling.
About the Role
We are seeking a driven and experienced Partnership & Business Development Manager to build and nurture strategic relationships with marketing agencies, design & development agencies, and technology partners for Flockler. Reporting to the General Manager of Flockler, this role is critical in expanding our reach and driving adoption of our social media aggregator solution. You will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and onboarding partners and new accounts, working closely with Marketing, Client Success, and Development teams.

Primary Responsibilities
- Own the entire sales pipeline, specifically leading engagement, follow-ups, and booking & closing demos
- Identify and prospect potential agency partners (Marketing, Digital, and Developer agencies) and complementary technology partners aligned with our target market (marketers and e-commerce businesses)
- Develop and execute a strategic partnership outreach plan to build a robust pipeline of qualified partners who drive predictable referred revenue
- Present Flockler's solutions and value proposition effectively to potential partners, referral, and inbound prospects
- Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders within partner organizations
- Collaborate with internal teams (Client Success, Marketing, Development) to ensure partner success and overall sales alignment
- Maintain up-to-date records of partnership activities and sales interactions via HubSpot
- Represent Relay Commerce and Flockler with enthusiasm and integrity - this is about building relationships, not just closing deals
Important Traits for Success
- Proven sales and partnership expertise: Demonstrated experience in sales and/or partnerships, preferably within the SaaS, martech, or digital marketing technology space
- ‘Give to get’ mindset: Partnerships are a two way street. The more value we can drive to partners, the more reciprocal value will be delivered.
- Effective prioritiser: Partnerships and sales have endless tasks associated with them. There’s only so many hours in the day. We’re looking for someone who knows how to organise and focus their resources for maximum impact
- Agency relationship builder: Experience working with marketing and/or developer agencies
- Digital marketing knowledge: Strong understanding of social media marketing, content marketing, and how user-generated content drives engagement and conversions
- CRM proficiency: Competency with CRM systems, with a preference for HubSpot
- Self-motivated closer: Results-oriented and able to work independently while managing both partnership development and direct sales
- Skilled communicator: Confident in phone, video, and written sales conversations; able to thrive on listening, understanding, and guiding customers to solutions
Bonus Points
- Experience in the marcomm tech space or with social media management tools
- Previous track record of successful partnership development and revenue generation
- Understanding of how social proof impacts purchase decisions, engagement and other key metrics
- Multilingual skills (Spanish, German, French, etc.) are a plus!
What Success Looks Like:
- Building a robust, predictable partner referral pipeline with qualified agency and tech partners driving consistent, measurable revenue contribution
- Identifying, onboarding, and nurturing a strong roster of agency partners (marketing, digital, and development) with clear KPIs, incentive structures, and active referral activity
- Developing and executing a structured outbound partnership strategy that moves Flockler beyond inbound-only growth
- Owning the full sales pipeline end-to-end, from prospecting through close, with consistent demo booking, follow-up cadences, and conversion rates that hit OTE targets
- Re-engaging and activating existing tech and agency partners already in the customer base, turning passive customers into active referral sources
- Expanding enterprise accounts currently on low-tier plans through strategic relationship-building and upsell conversations
- Maintaining a clean, well-managed HubSpot CRM that provides real visibility into partnership activity, pipeline health, and revenue attribution
- Collaborating effectively with Client Success, Marketing, and Development teams to ensure partners are well-supported and set up to sell Flockler confidently
- Establishing Flockler as a go-to provider in scalable social embeds and referral partner within the broader martech and social commerce ecosystem
- Consistently hitting and exceeding partnership-sourced pipeline and revenue targets, with a clear path to scaling the program in year two and beyond
Location
- Portugal: This role is currently 100% remote, with the plan to transition to a hybrid schedule within approximately 12 months. Candidates must be based in Lisbon, Portugal. Once hybrid work begins, the team will collaborate in person 2-3 times per week, with flexibility built into scheduling.

Compensation
The base salary range for this role is $40,000 to $60,000 USD per year, depending on experience, qualifications and location.
OTE: This role also includes a performance-based variable compensation component, with an anticipated commission of $60,000 USD for team members meeting target performance. This role also includes equity as part of the total compensation package.
Total On-Target Earnings (OTE) for this role is $100,000 to $120,000 USD.
