We’ve shown that we make a real difference for physician practices and their patients. </div><h4>About the position:</h4> <h4>Our Finance team is seeking a Senior Accountant to support our accounting needs during a period of rapid growth. Reporting into our This person will be responsible for owning key accounting activities and processes across the business and will play an integral and visible role in keeping our business on track. As Stellar Health scales, there will be significant opportunities for this individual to assume more responsibility and advance their career within Accounting in a high growth environment.</h4> <h4>What you’ll do:</h4> <ul> <li>Participate in the month end close by creating and reviewing journal entries in the GL and owning particular tasks in that process, while preparing and reviewing robust documentation and reconciliations</li> <li>Prepare variance analyses for specific accounts to assist the FP&A and leadership teams in identifying key insights in regular monthly financial reporting.</li> <li>Assist and lead various accounting transaction cycles, while focusing to improve the established processes through efficient process design and automation</li> <li>Assist with annual external audits by preparing schedules, documenting and explaining procedures and providing requested information as needed</li> <li>Collaborate and partner with teams across the company to ensure the accuracy and precision of our financial records</li> <li>Drive ongoing process improvements and efficiency gains for areas of responsibility.</li> <li>Lead or assist on ad-hoc projects as needed (e.g. tax compliance, system implementations).</li> </ul> <h4>As Senior Accountant you should have:</h4> <ul> <li>3-5 years of relevant experience in Accounting, with public accounting experience preferred</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting or Business</li> <li>Experience with NetSuite preferred</li> <li>Advanced Excel capabilities/knowledge</li> <li>Strong understanding of US GAAP</li> <li>Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high quality and consistent work product</li> <li>Strong organization and communication skills, with the ability to work well cross-functionally on Finance related projects</li> </ul> <h4>Who will love this job:</h4> <ul> <li>If you love working with people, are looking to develop in your Finance and Accounting career and want to be part of a passionate, professional, and dynamic team within a fast-growing innovative company, please read on!</li> </ul> Pay: The salary range for this role is $110,000 - $135,000 and will be eligible for an annual performance based bonus. Where a new hire falls within this range will be based on their individual skills and experience, and how these competencies compare across other employees in the same role. Stellar's bands are designed to allow for individual compensation growth within the role. As such, new hires typically start at the lower end of the range.
