As the VP of Digital, Content & AI, you will play a pivotal role in driving our company's digital channels, content and ABM strategy and adoption of AI across the Commercial team.

Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer and working in close collaboration with the VP of Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive content and digital marketing plans to strengthen our brand presence, engage our target audience, and drive customer acquisition and retention. You will lead a team of content creators, digital marketers, and video producers, guiding them to deliver exceptional content and digital experiences across various channels that support our inbound marketing, sales automation and account based marketing programs.

Secondly you will work directly with the VP of Demand Generation, VP of Sales and VP of Customer Success to unlock the use of AI technologies to increase efficiency and performance across the commercial organization and our customer communities.

Lastly, Wunderkind will be taking over Primary Venture Partners Retail network and bringing that in-house to Wunderkind, relaunching as ‘The Executive’, which will be a peer to peer networking, content and events community of 1400+ Retail Executives, and members of the Venture Community. You will be responsible for creating the content stream for this network which will be primarily focused on how AI will disrupt and change Retail over the coming years.

Digital, Content, Communication Strategy & Optimization

  • Define global content strategy and planning for Wunderkind’s Ecommerce/Performance Marketing and Advertising businesses across funnel in collaboration with Brands, Product Marketing, Sales and Demand Gen teams with a focus on video.
  • Establish content benchmarks to deliver best in class quality and expected volume of full funnel content.
  • Establish content KPIs and tracking to understand engagement and success.
  • Lead our corporate communications, which encompass public and analyst relations, executive communications, and thought leadership.
  • Implement a proactive strategy for building strong relationships with influential technology analysts, enhancing our visibility and market position.
  • Regularly provide internal communications, such as all-hands meetings, updates via Slack and email, to keep the entire organization informed
  • Create the AI Content stream for ‘The Executive’ network

AI Adoption

  • Lead the implementation of a language model for the commercial team to radically improve efficiency of content access and use to better serve customers and drive sales.
  • Collaborate with the VP of Rev Ops, VP of Sales, VP of Demand Gen and VP of Customer Success to deploy a commercial team LLM for each of these teams that will increase our performance and speed of execution.
  • Research and test new AI tools that can help reduce workflows or cut costs across the commercial team

Insights and Audiences

  • Be responsible to ensure targeting of the right audience within content strategy for each businesses
  • Provide insights on targeting performance and adapt strategy for optimum efficiency

Go-to-Market

  • Be responsible to collect needs and requests from GTM team on content and act as a facilitator to answer with agility and speed, prioritize requests and liaise with Demand Gen team for campaign orchestration and promotion
  • Provide clear guidelines and consolidate elements from various stakeholders to provide toolkit for 360° go-to-market strategy based on new campaigns, programs, partnerships
  • Evaluate and enhance our content distribution strategy that leverages company owned and paid media channels including but not limited to publications, websites, YouTube, digital ads, social media, and more

Digital:

  • Build and maintain a superior and high performing website and web pages optimized for education and conversion
  • Manage the paid Ads marketing budget for maximum return, define and deliver real-time reporting on performance metrics
  • Drive a data-driven performance culture and practice: constantly testing and optimizing banners, taglines, formats, landing pages and the channel mix including successful retargeting strategies based on data

Partner to the Business

  • Serve as a strategic internal consultant for top-level executives, offering support for external speaking engagements and media interactions, while also providing expert guidance on internal communications.
  • Foster a dynamic and inclusive team culture that promotes excellence, fosters employee satisfaction, enhances motivation, and draws in exceptional new talent.

Qualifications

  • 10yrs+ in communications, content and digital experience in B2B SaaS or agency
  • Strong experience interviewing VP and C-Suite level individuals, discussing both detailed product features and capabilities along with the intricacies of both strategic marketing concepts and speaking to the impact of current market conditions.
  • Experience in leading team members across several disciplines to ensure cohesion and optimal production output.
  • have the ability to produce both short and long form written and video content at scale to meet marketing campaign demands.
  • experience shaping and executing digital asset development to ensure best in class customer experiences while providing the customer journey data and insights needed to ignite new business
  • have experience managing PR and content amplification efforts, both across internal and external resources, to maximize content and marketing impact driving brand awareness and to support lead generation.
  • have experience with paid advertisement strategies while aligning creative and brand messaging.
  • Experience with partnering with Sales organizations
  • Passionate about AI and technology
  • Understanding of language model and how to apply it to Marketing and sales practices

The base salary range for this role is $195,000-$250,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each specific candidate; including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, applicable certifications, and geographic work location. This may vary depending on living location and market rate.
