Wunderkind is seeking a highly experienced Senior Technical Program Manager to join our Product & Engineering Leadership Team. Reporting directly to our SVP of Product & Engineering, this individual will be responsible for the strategic oversight and execution of all project initiatives within the product and engineering teams.

This role demands an experienced professional with a robust background in project management, exceptional leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of product development and engineering processes. The Senior Technical Program Manager is an individual contributor who will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and implement a project management strategy that aligns with the company’s vision and goals.
• Oversee the full project lifecycle, ensuring timely and successful delivery of projects. Monitor progress, manage risks, and ensure projects meet established quality standards and business objectives.
• Work closely with product and engineering teams to define project requirements and objectives. Ensure clear communication and alignment with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Continuously evaluate and enhance project management processes, tools, and methodologies. Implement best practices to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability of project execution.
• Manage project resources, including budgeting, staffing, and scheduling. Optimize resource utilization and address gaps proactively to ensure project demands are met.
• Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and team performance. Provide regular reports to senior leadership on project status, outcomes, and areas for improvement.
• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure robust risk management practices are integrated into all project activities.
• Leverage technical knowledge and experience to guide project teams in overcoming engineering and product development challenges. Ensure technical feasibility and alignment with product goals.
• Maintain a strong client focus, ensuring projects meet or exceed client expectations. Address client feedback and concerns promptly and professionally.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the technology, product development, or engineering sectors.
• Proven track record of managing complex projects and leading cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g. Jira)
• Technical background and familiarity with software development and engineering processes
• PMP or other relevant project management certification preferred

The base salary range for this role is $130,000 to $160,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each specific candidate; including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, applicable certifications, and geographic work location. This may vary depending on living location and market rate.
