Senior Manager, Business Development (DEN)

We are seeking an accomplished Key Executive Leader to drive our community engagement and fortify relationships with our distinguished members. This pivotal role involves steering strategic initiatives to expand the Digital Executive Network (DEN) and creating unparalleled opportunities for our members to connect, learn, and grow as industry leaders.

The Digital Executive Network (the ‘DEN’) is a premier network community of retail and ecommerce business leaders from early-stage startups to large-scale enterprises. The network bridges the gap between the retail industry and the venture capital ecosystem. Our members benefit from shared insights, cutting-edge technologies, and exclusive opportunities to build world-class organizations. As the leader of this influential network, you will play a crucial role in driving its ongoing success.

In this role, you will be instrumental in advancing our growth strategy, providing personalized experiences that span both digital and in-person interactions. Responsibilities include attending and hosting events, managing our digital presence, and maintaining a strong executive presence within the community. We are seeking a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach who can deliver robust growth strategies to enhance our brand and deeply engage our executive members.

Why Join Us

  • High-Impact Role: Be at the heart of a premier network, working directly with senior leaders and team members to prioritize growth opportunities and build meaningful relationships.
  • Entrepreneurial Environment: Join a small, collaborative, and entrepreneurial team where you will wear many hats and contribute significantly to establishing a unique member experience.
  • Exclusive Network: Help shape the DEN into a global premier business networking community for consumer-focused executives.
  • This is a unique opportunity to join a prestigious network, set new standards of excellence, and have full ownership over your impact. If you are ready to dive deep and drive significant growth, we invite you to apply and become a cornerstone of our organization's success.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Source and maintain partners and sponsors for the DEN, ensuring mutual value for VC partners, PE partners, vendor partners, and executive search partners.
  • Lead the ideation and execution of both virtual and in-person events, including travel to target cities or conferences. Take ownership of events, manage delegation of administrative and operational tasks, and ensure the best possible group of attendees.
  • Build proficiency in tools like AirTable, Salesforce, Salesloft, Hubspot, Notion, etc., becoming the go-to person for managing each system.
