Wunderkind is looking for a self-starting and dynamic Customer Success Associate that will work closely with a Senior Customer Success Manager and their publisher/media company clients to solve pressing audience development and consumer marketing concerns via our cutting edge software solution. This includes effectively working with service teams to clearly communicate needs, ensuring efficient operations, optimal customer service and next-level results!

Customer Success Associates undergo an initial onboarding term that includes structured training, mentorship, and early exposure to some of our largest digital news and lifestyle publisher clients. Associates then assist on large publisher/media clients and advance to working directly with clients on building out their multi-faceted marketing strategies.

Day In The Life:

  • With a dedicated Senior Customer Success Manager as a mentor and manager, you will assist on a dedicated segment of Wunderkind's publisher/media clients, including initial on-boarding, strategy development, campaign execution, optimization, and client retention.
  • Actively work within Wunderkind’s platforms and systems to build and optimize campaigns, and create and fine-tune performance reporting.
  • Continuously think outside the box to generate new campaign ideas, tailored to the unique needs of your clients.
  • Use your attention to detail to execute campaigns efficiently and flawlessly.
  • Partner with service team members to find creative solutions that deliver excellent client outcomes.
  • Develop an advisory relationship with your client POCs and stakeholders to fully understand your client's business strategy and success metrics.
  • Communicate and continuously reinforce how Wunderkind drives performance, what our competitive advantage is, and why it is worth the investment through regular virtual touch points and occasional in-person meetings.
  • Serve as client advocate internally while effectively collaborating with internal, cross-functional teams including product management, sales, engineering, and design

You Will Stand Out With:

  • 1+ year(s) experience in Customer Success, Marketing, Publishing, or Client Services [internships considered]
  • Excellent communication skills and EQ; you enjoy building relationships, overcoming pushback and engaging in high touch client interactions, while setting appropriate expectations with clients
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to set priorities and stay organized
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with multiple teams and team members
  • Ability to simplify technical concepts and develop rapport with clients through clear and professional communication
  • An interest in data analysis and knowledge of reporting tools like Excel and Google Sheets.

Bonus Points if You Have:

  • A collaborative, team-oriented working style
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with with a healthy dose of humility
  • Demonstrated success in fast-paced and demanding environments; you have a strong bias towards action and accountability
  • Experience with Analytics platforms (i.e. Google Analytics)
  • Experience working at or with media companies/publishers
  • Experience working on campaigns with one or more email service providers (ESP)

The base salary range for this role is $60,000-$70,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each specific candidate; including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, applicable certifications, and geographic work location. This may vary depending on living location and market rate.
