About the role
We are seeking a strategic, technically-minded Senior Product Manager of Identity & Data Collection across our Marketing and Advertising business verticals to lead the vision, roadmap, and execution of our identity, data ingestion, data portability and and collection capabilities. This individual will play a critical role in strengthening our identity graph and defining our data ingestion strategy — shaping how information flows into our systems and forming the foundation for analytics, personalization, AI/ML, and customer insights.
You’ll work cross-functionally with engineering, product managers, analytics, and GTM teams to ensure we’re capturing the right data, from the right sources, at the right scale and quality. Your work will directly impact core company initiatives around product intelligence, platform performance, and customer value.
What You’ll Do
- Drive the vision, strategy, and execution of Wunderkind’s identity and data collection solutions across both Wunderkind’s marketing and advertising business verticals — including:
- Identity: Identity graphs, data onboarding partners (LiveRamp, Neustar, etc.), and post-cookie solutions (UID2, RampID, ID5, etc.).
- Data collection: client-side JavaScript tags, web and mobile SDKs, tag managers, server-side data collection, and data pipelines.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements for new data sources and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Partner closely with engineering to deliver scalable, privacy-compliant, and high-performance data collection systems.
- Work with analytics, data science, and machine learning teams to ensure data quality, availability, and reliability.
- Lead customer discovery with both technical and non-technical users to understand data needs and use cases.
- Monitor performance metrics and KPIs to ensure data collection systems are robust, efficient, and delivering value.
- Champion best practices around data governance, instrumentation, and event taxonomy.
- Identify and mitigate risks around data loss, privacy violations, or compliance issues (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Define KPIs, monitor product performance, and continuously prioritize roadmap based on impact, scalability, and stakeholder feedback.
- Evangelize the importance of high-quality data collection practices across the organization, including adoption of product development frameworks, brief templates, RCAs, and GTM processes.
- Educate and enable cross-functional teams (including Go-To-Market, Sales, Engineering, Marketing) on data collection capabilities, value proposition, and compliance features.
What You Bring
- 5–8 years of experience in product management, ideally with at least 2 years focused on identity, data infrastructure and collection.
- Strong technical fluency with client-side (JavaScript, mobile SDKs) and server-side tracking methodologies including - JavaScript tags, tag managers, server-side data collections, APIs, SDKs, cloud infrastructure, and data pipelines (e.g., Kafka, Snowflake, Segment, ETL).
- Deep understanding of identity graphs, data onboarding partners (LiveRamp, Neustar, etc.), and post-cookie solutions (UID2, RampID, ID5, etc.).
- Experience working with data privacy and compliance frameworks.
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives with engineering and data teams.
- Comfortable balancing technical complexity with user and business value.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
- Bonus:
- Experience with digital instrumentation, analytics platforms (e.g., Amplitude, Mixpanel), or tag managers.
- Understanding of identity resolution, user attribution, or data stitching.
- Familiarity working with CDP’s (e.g, mParticle, Segment, etc.)

The base salary range for this role is $150,000 to $180,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each specific candidate; including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, applicable certifications, and geographic work location. This may vary depending on living location and market rate.
