Alma is on a mission to simplify access to high-quality, affordable mental health care. We do this by making it easy and financially rewarding for therapists to accept insurance and offer in-network care. When a provider joins Alma, they gain access to a suite of tools that not only help them better run their business, but also grow it sustainably and develop as a provider. Alma is available in all 50 states, with over 20,000 therapists in our growing network. Anyone looking for a therapist can browse Alma’s free directory. Alma has raised $220.5M in funding from Insight Partners, Optum Ventures, Tusk Venture Partners, Primary Venture Partners, First Round Capital, Sound Ventures, BoxGroup, Cigna Ventures, and Rainfall Ventures. Alma was also named one of Inc’s Best Workplaces in 2022 and 2023.

  • Manage escalations arising from your respective teams; partner within Operations and with cross-functional teams (e.g, Product, Engineering) to understand issue scope, identify root cause, evaluate solutions, and drive resolution
  • Partner with our People team and HRBP to implement and maintain robust performance management processes at all levels, including coaching, growth, and performance improvement
  • Define and deliver on a team-wide engagement strategy; oversee planning and execution of all team-building activities and offsite events
  • Set clear priorities, foster a positive work culture, and inspire team members to deliver high-quality work while promoting personal and professional growth
  • Uphold and promote the company's values including our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion

Who you are:

  • You have 8-12 years of experience leading large, multi-layered teams in high-growth, operationally complex environments
  • You are a top-notch manager and people leader, with a strong track record of leading high-performing teams and driving results
  • You have exceptional analytical and problem solving skills, and can break down complex issues into structured frameworks and actionable insights to rally your team to take action quickly and decisively
  • You are eager to roll up your sleeves and get in the weeds with teams to solve problems at the ground level
  • You have strong business acumen and data fluency, with a unique ability to spot trends and ‘connect the dots’; you are equally comfortable with high-level strategy and in-the-weeds execution
  • You have excellent communication skills, including the ability to express complexity in a simple way and to inspire others with your vision
  • You may have healthcare and revenue cycle industry experience (a big plus)
  • You are passionate about our mission and the future of mental healthcare

Alma’s compensation philosophy is driven by our company value of building equity. The recruiter you work with can provide more details on our philosophy.
