Our mission: eliminating every barrier to mental health.

Spring Health is a global mental health company on a mission to eliminate every barrier to mental health. We're building a world where getting support is simple, personal, and built around the person, so care can continue through every job, move, health plan, and life stage.

Our AI-native platform helps us deliver personalized support across self-guided tools, coaching, therapy, medication management, and specialty care. With outcomes independently validated by JAMA Network Open and the Validation Institute, Spring Health reaches more than 170 million people worldwide through leading employers, health plans, and partners.

As an AI-native company, we believe technology should expand the reach, quality, and humanity of care. Every Spring Health team member is expected to use AI tools thoughtfully, apply human judgment to AI outputs, and keep building AI fluency in ways that support their role and our mission.

Reporting to the Enrollment Manager and partnering closely with our Credentialing, Onboarding, and Claims teams, the Enrollment Specialist will own how our clinicians are enrolled with health plans and kept accurately listed on plan rosters. Your work determines when a clinician can start seeing members under a plan and whether they are paid correctly afterward. This is a full-time position that is fully remote. Travel is not required.

What you’ll do:

  • Submit and track clinician enrollment requests with multiple health plans, following each plan's specific requirements and timelines so clinicians can start seeing members on the correct effective dates.

  • Build, quality-check, and submit recurring clinician rosters to health plans in Google Sheets and Excel, verifying names, tax IDs, licenses, practice locations, and dates before every submission.

  • Reconcile roster and enrollment records across internal systems and plan-provided files using advanced spreadsheet techniques (lookups, filters, de-duplication, and multi-tab formulas), resolving discrepancies before they affect claims and payments.

  • Process clinician requests to add or remove a health plan or a state license, keeping internal records, trackers, and clinician communications accurate from start to finish.

  • Manage clinician terminations and plan unenrollments so that plan records and internal records reflect the correct end dates.

  • Monitor enrollment status and turnaround times, and escalate delays and risks with clear context and proposed next steps.

  • Communicate with clinicians and health plan contacts clearly, promptly, and professionally.

  • Use AI tools daily for automations/agents, analyzing data, and verifying your work, validating every output before it reaches a health plan or clinician.

  • Improve and automate roster submission steps using spreadsheet automation and AI, and document procedures so they stay current.

  • Work with cross functional teams to solve provider inquiries regarding their payer credentialing status or changes to their enrollment.

  • Support Payer Escalations with timely data on enrollment status and investigations to support the claims team

  • Update the Alma Portal to match the roster data, working with product to flag and fix errors to avoid claims friction or inaccuracies for provider payer data.

  • Prepare monthly executive level reports on roster and waitlist accuracy

What success looks like in this role:

  • Health plan rosters are submitted on schedule and accepted with 99%+ accuracy.

  • Enrollment requests are completed within the agreed turnaround time for each health plan.

  • Clinician effective dates and plan records are correct, measured through regular audits and fewer claim denials or payment corrections caused by enrollment or roster errors.

  • Clinician requests to add or remove a plan or state are resolved within the standard response time.

  • Errors are caught by your own spreadsheet checks and AI-assisted validation before submission, measured by the share of issues found internally rather than by a health plan or Claims.

  • Written procedures and trackers are current, and at least one repeatable process is simplified or automated with spreadsheets or AI each half-year.

What you’ll bring:

  • 2+ years of direct experience in provider enrollment and rostering with commercial health plans, supporting a large, multi-state group practice or clinician network.

  • Working knowledge of how health plans require enrollments and rosters to be submitted (applications, roster files, effective dates, terminations) and a track record of following each plan's process exactly to get clean acceptances.

  • Experience improving or automating roster submission or enrollment workflows, with examples of the time saved or errors avoided.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work against the source before you submit it.

  • Advanced proficiency in both Google Sheets and Excel: lookup functions, pivot tables, conditional formatting, and formulas across multi-tab workbooks, plus the ability to clean, compare, and audit large data sets accurately.

  • Clear, professional written communication with clinicians, health plans, and internal partners.

  • Proven ability to run recurring, deadline-driven processes independently and to escalate early when something is off track.

  • Working knowledge of Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms).

  • Demonstrated, regular use of AI tools to draft, analyze, and check your work, including writing effective prompts, iterating on results, and validating output against source data before relying on it.

  • A proactive approach to improving processes and a willingness to learn new systems quickly.

Nice to have:

  • Experience working with several different national and regional health plans at once.

  • Experience in behavioral health or healthcare revenue cycle.

  • Experience writing spreadsheet scripts or building lightweight automations.

  • Professional credentials in credentialing or medical services management (for example, CPCS or CPMSM).
