The Challenge to Solve
Buying affordable, high quality supplies is one of the biggest challenges facing local independent restaurants today; they pay higher prices than franchises and often must use outdated systems to place and receive their orders. Slice’s "The Goods" seeks to solve this challenge by empowering local pizzeria owners to order high-quality supplies at unmatched prices, on demand, in just a few clicks.
As a Market Operations Lead, you will oversee the in-market adoption and operations of The Goods, one of Slice's newest and most exciting verticals focused on takeout & delivery supplies. Your day-to-day will include managing warehouse & delivery/fulfillment operations and heading out into your territory to engage, win, and retain pizzerias onto the platform, representing Slice and delivering perfect experiences for our shops the whole way. Ultimately, you will help us scale The Goods and drive financial performance in your market and across the US by hitting KPIs (ex: shop acquisition, shop retention, cost per order, shop satisfaction) and partnering with leadership to help design long-term strategy. This role will require you to play a variety of roles and make decisions in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
The Supply Chain team (AKA The Goods) includes our VP, Supply Chain and a collaborative group of Market Operations Leads working in specific territories throughout the East Coast. This role involves frequent external communication and in-person collaboration; in addition to your team at Slice, you will work with various partners and stakeholders related to warehouse operations, delivery and fulfillment. You will also collaborate with local pizzeria and restaurant owners to understand their needs and demonstrate how Slice can help their business. This role reports to our VP, Supply Chain.

We are looking for a versatile, entrepreneurial candidate who is excited about engaging and building relationships with local pizzeria & restaurant owners. These are the core competencies this role calls for:
- 2-6+ years of retail, warehouse, logistics, fulfillment, consulting, or equivalent experience
- Bachelor's degree required
- Comfortable in ambiguous situations, adaptable, and can lead in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Knowledge of financial statements and KPIs, or willingness to learn
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Customer-centric attitude
- Willingness to travel within Brooklyn & Queens and work face-to-face with a variety of stakeholders and partners

Salary Range: $105k - $130k OTE + benefits.
