The Challenge to Solve
Provide Slice with stable platforms to grow the business and to empower independent pizzeria owners to make the best data driven decisions through insights that ensure future success.
The Role
You will join the Platform Engineering team, focused on building and maintaining scalable, high performing, highly available and secure platforms in support of Product Engineering. You will work with Product Engineering helping to support the application lifecycle management process, from inception to deployment. You will work to configure and maintain cloud hosted platforms in support of customers and restaurants, helping to guarantee success and growth. You will collaborate and learn from a world class Platform Engineering team , focused on innovation and continuous improvement.
The Team
You’ll work with a team of skilled platform engineers, helping to build infrastructure, deploy, and support applications . You will collaborate with product engineering teams to understand requirements for the application infrastructure. You will help to develop the infrastructure, and test to verify that it can handle the expected load, and can recover from failures.You will configure servers, databases and other cloud services to run applications, while continuously monitoring the infrastructure for issues and making updates to keep it running reliably. You will participate in daily standup meetings, updating the team on your progress while simultaneously sharing knowledge.
