About the Role
We’re looking for a thoughtful, strategic, and hands-on Recruiting Lead to own and evolve our hiring function, and help shape the broader employee experience. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, early-stage environments, loves building processes from the ground up, and is excited to work cross-functionally to help us scale thoughtfully.
What You’ll Do
Recruiting Scope
Own end-to-end recruiting across key functions, including sourcing, screening, designing interview plans, scheduling, and managing candidates
Build relationships with hiring managers and develop recruiting strategies to hire the best talent for the role in a structured and objective manner
Develop and promote our top of funnel strategies across sourcing, employer brand, and referrals to help us attract the best talent
Maintain and analyze recruiting related data and report out on hiring progress
Deliver a best in class candidate experience
People Scope
Help streamline onboarding and ensure a consistent, welcoming new hire experience
Partner on initiatives around performance reviews, leveling, and compensation frameworks
Support internal systems and tooling (ATS, HRIS) and help scale people processes as we grow
Work closely with leadership on culture-building and team communication efforts
About You
5-8+ years of experience in recruiting with at least 2+ years of experience in a start-up environment
Expertise in recruiting both technical and non-technical talent, including senior and executive hires
Familiarity with using an ATS (Applicant Tracking System), Ashby preferred
Strong understanding of recruiting data and reporting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently
Bonus points if you have some experience in broader people operations work outside of recruiting
