About the Role

This role is a critical member of Tabs’ private equity partnership channel, with responsibility for driving partner-sourced revenue, building relationships across the private equity ecosystem, and ensuring PE firm introductions translate into real commercial outcomes at the portfolio company level. You will work closely with the PE Partnerships Lead, the GTM team, and senior leadership to grow Tabs’ presence across leading private equity firms and their portfolio companies.

This is a quota-carrying, execution-focused role for someone who is energized by relationship-driven sales, understands how PE firms think, and can credibly represent Tabs at every level — from a partner conversation at the firm to a live product demo with a portfolio company CFO.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and deepen relationships across the private equity ecosystem, including investors, operating partners, and value creation teams.

  • Source, manage, and grow partner-sourced pipeline and revenue, with accountability for achieving quarterly commercial targets.

  • Partner closely with the GTM team to ensure PE-sourced introductions are effectively handed off, progressed, and supported through close.

  • Run independent conversations and product demos with portfolio company finance leaders, translating Tabs’ capabilities into clear business value for CFO and operator audiences.

  • Develop and maintain a high-trust, high-touch engagement cadence with PE partners, keeping firms educated on Tabs’ product evolution and relevant portfolio use cases.

  • Represent Tabs at PE industry events, portfolio operating group sessions, and company-hosted events.

  • Serve as an internal voice of the PE channel by bringing partner and portfolio feedback into positioning, enablement materials, and GTM strategy.

  • Iterate on the PE partner program and playbook over time, identifying ways to improve how Tabs activates firms and converts portfolio opportunities.

Experience

  • 5+ years of professional experience in partnerships, business development, sales, consulting, fintech, B2B SaaS, or related operator roles.

  • Proven track record in a quota-carrying or commercially accountable role, ideally with responsibility for pipeline generation, partner activation, or revenue contribution.

  • Strong understanding of how private equity firms, operating groups, and portfolio company finance teams work; direct experience in the PE ecosystem is a strong plus.

  • Experience in high-growth or early-stage B2B SaaS or fintech is strongly preferred.

  • Background in private equity or existing relationships within the private equity ecosystem are a plus.

  • Understanding of revenue operations, contract-to-cash workflows, billing infrastructure, or finance systems is a plus.

This role is based in New York City 5 days a week at our Soho office.
